TURKISH TULUMBA DESSERT RECIPE

For the syrup ⤵️

    • 3.5 cups of sugar
    • 2.5 cups of water
    • A few drops of lemon juice

For the dough ⤵️

    • 2 cups of water
    • 2.5 cups of flour
    • 1 tablespoon of oil
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • Salt with teaspoon tip
    • Liquid oil for frying

Ingredients ⤵️

    • First, let’s prepare a dark sherbet with the sherbet ingredients (Boil for 25 minutes on low heat after boiling) Then let cool. The sherbet must be thick and well cooled so that the desserts are crunchy and not softened! Making the dough: Take water, 1 tablespoon oil, sugar and salt into a saucepan. When it starts to boil, add the flour and mix it with a wooden spoon for 4-5 minutes and cook. Take it from the stove and let it cool. Then, break the eggs one by one into the dough and mix them with a mixer or knead by hand. (Be careful to mix well when you add each egg). Put plenty of oil in a large saucepan. Take the dough into the squeezing bag. Use large size knurled tips. Squeeze the cold oil into the desired length and cut it off with scissors. The bottom of the stove is low. turn it on and let it blush. Do not mix before frying. The slower it is browned, the more crispy it becomes. When it starts to blush, raise the fire a little. And mix it all over. Pour the desserts you removed from the oil into cold syrup, mix. Leave in sherbet for 2-3 minutes. Then remove it from Sherbet.

Ingredients ⤵️
